    Kanye Glows in the Dark

I was lucky enough to get floor seat tickets last night to Kanye's historic Glow In The Dark Concert which stopped at GM Place in Vancouver.  The sold out night did not dissapoint.  The line ups were insanely long due to the camera checks.  Well my buddy Peyv pulled some skills out of his ass and snuck us through to the front while I smuggled my camera in without a hitch! As we arrived some local chantuese was finishing up and I was worried that I missed some of the top notch acts that were bi

A Couple More Titles, Easier Games Too

So I unfortunately managed to find a couple of titles once again to add to my collection - Rockstar’s Table Tennis brand new for $20, and Assassin’s Creed brand new for $25 (Yes, factory sealed) for $25. I also picked up FIFA 06: Race to the World Cup for $25. I haven’t played Assassins Creed yet, as I’ve been focusing on Rockstar’s Table Tennis which I’ve actually found quite fun to play, and I’m tempted to even write a review on it too. About half of the achievements are online unfortunately

10 Reasons Why The Hotel Lobbyists Don’t Suck

    1) Their live show kicks ass. 2) “Dahlia” starts as a heart-wrenching ballad and ends with the best rawk ‘n’ roll “Woo Hoo” of the last 40 years. 3) The bass player in dating Shiloh Lindsey. 4) The Hotel Lobbyists is a wicked name for a band. 5) They like animals (well, animals on t-shirts but that’s got to count for something). 6) “Line Red” should be on the Easy Rider soundtrack. 7) They’re contemplating a gig on the same weekend as the Pemberton Music Festival (This means two things:

Rockstar Vancouver is a video game studio located in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. Rockstar Vancouver released Bully, a controversial title exclusively for the PlayStation 2 on October 17, 2006. Rockstar Vancouver employs 75 people and develops action titles exclusively for Rockstar Games.

    History

Rockstar Vancouver started as Barking Dog Studios, and was founded in May 1998 by several former employees of Radical Entertainment. Barking Dog, with publishing assistance by Sierra Studios, moved on to produce a sequel to the 1999 PC Magazine Game of the Year Homeworld entitled Homeworld: Cataclysm. Homeworld had been developed by Relic Entertainment but Sierra chose instead to use Barking Dog to develop the game.

Barking Dog was also retained by Valve Software for minor finishing touches on an early beta version of the popular first-person shooter Counter-Strike. Their legacy can be seen on the Counter-Strike map de_train where their cartoon dog logo can be seen on the side of a railcar.

Barking Dog also produced other games such as Global Operations, Transworld Skateboarding and Treasure Planet. They were acquired by Rockstar Games in August 2002, and became known as Rockstar Vancouver. The name Barking Dog Studios was then sold to a web site/application development company.

Many Barking Dog employees later split off to form their own companies, such as Kerberos Productions and Ironclad Games.
