At Long Last, Quake Wars (X360, PS3) Gets A Release Date
Activision has finally announced a release date for the long delayed PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Both versions will be hitting retail stores on May 27th, 2008. Originally released on the PC in late 2007 as a sequel to the free multiplayer shooter Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, the class-based gameplay focuses on teamwork and coordination in an effort to complete a number of map-specific objectives. Volgende zomer zal Quake Wars, dat allang voor PC beschikbaar is, ook naar de Xbox 360 en PlayStation 3 komen. Nu heeft Activision plannen om eerst een demo te releasen van het spel voor de consoles. Greg Stone, een designer bij Nerve Software, maakt momenteel de port voor de Xbox 360 en heeft gezegd dat Nerve Software en Activision echt de demo’s gaan brengen.
