Another Indie Title Headlines GameTap Weekly Update
Like last week, GameTap has added another indie title to their subscription service. Starscape, which is pictures above and in the thumbnails below, was developed by Moonpod and is based around a spaceship in space (natch). The two other new games are Ingenious and Ancient Wars: Sparta. Moonpod is a computer game company founded in 2002 and located in Sheffield in the UK. It was founded by Mark Featherstone, Nick Tipping and Darren Griffiths (who later left the company in 2005), having left Rage Software Limited shortly before it was forced to close. Their first release, Starscape, won the Game Tunnel 'Independent Game of the Year' award 2003. This was followed up with Mr. Robot which was ranked first in Game Tunnel's top 100 games, and won an award in PC Format's 2007 game awards.
