El rumor también indicaba que su lanzamiento en Japón se produciría entorno a la estación de otoño, y así ha sido finalmente gracias a la reciente confirmación por parte de la propia Nintendo, quienes además han queri

Pokemon Platinum revealed, set for fall release in Japan
Filed under: Nintendo DS, RPGs Pokéfanatics across the globe have been anxiously tied to their poké-related news sites over the past few weeks, attempting to prognosticate what gemstone/precious metal/color would serve as the title for the next installment in the beloved monster-enslaving series -- shortly after CoroCoro magazine dropped word of the upcoming Pokémon Platinum, the Sandshrew-swift Nintendo swooped in to confirm the title, and to reveal a fall release window for the game in Japa
Game Freak, Incorporated(株式会社ゲームフリーク,Kabushiki-gaisha Gēmu Furīku?) is the Japanese video game developer behind the Pokémon series of RPGs, as well as several other games. It is a second-party developer for Nintendo.
The company was founded on April 26, 1989 by Satoshi Tajiri. In honor of the founder, the lead character in the Japanese version of the Pokémon TV series was named Satoshi (Ash Ketchum in the English dub). One of Game Freak's first games was Famicom action/puzzle game Quinty, which was released in North America as Mendel Palace.
Their most popular RPG series, Pokémon, is published by Nintendo in Japan, North America and Europe. Pokémon is formally known as Pocket Monsters (ポケットモンスター,Poketto Monsutā?) in Japan, and the abbreviation Pokémon (ポケモン,Pokémon?) is derived from the Japanese spelling.
Game Freak released Drill Dozer, an all new game for Game Boy Advance in 2005, and released Diamond and Pearl, the versions of Pokémon for the Nintendo DS, in 2006 and 2007.
